I sometimes have cereal as a late night snack. Rarely have it for breakfast though.
How about not having a sig at all?

Cereal is a breakfast staple in this house. Probably part of the reason we also get through 12 litres of milk a week.

I quite like Special K so I have that from time to time.

I was a cornflake man for years. Porridge changed my life. Porridge 4 Eva ❣️
Recent porridge convert. So simple and so filling. Although a couple of rashers of bacon with a little yoghurt at work I've worked out is a good 'un.

Mmmm, fat.

I love cornflakes and I’ve found that the Tesco own brand ones are the best.

My partner likes stupid sugary cereals and they prefer an off brand version of the one they like too.

I’ve evidentially proved that your premise is nonsense Mik, you’re welcome.

I could happily eat cereal for dinner too...
I regularly have it for lunch, I kept seeing that Live well for less program where they bang on about the cheaper supermarket own brands being identical, I tried Sainsbury's own cornflakes, bloody awful!

Nutrition is still all voodoo to me.

I did do a bit of research and the British Heart Foundation says that Porridge is so good that it’s the best cereal, even though it isn’t actually cereal

Depends on context if it’s weird or not. This is acceptable as long as it’s your second bowl and are trying to get extra flavoursome milk.

If you always put milk in first then that’s weird

Objection! This is a thread moaning about cheap cereals, not the consumption methodology of same. :ugeek:

I love a bit of porridge with some yoghurt and sultanas. Also love crumpets with peanut butter and strawberry jam. Delicious!

My children are partial to a Danish tradition: porridge oats with raisins and milk (although the middle one will quite happily eat them dry).
