£195 for twenty mins work rebuilding a uPVC door lock. I got very close to fixing it myself as well :x

Whaaa? A euro-cylinder? They aren’t expensive to buy new (I have upgraded plenty to decent barrels).

Edit: Reading again I guess it’s the locking mech rather than the lock cylinder itself?

Aye, I remember once having to pay a locksmith £100 to slip a lock because a key broke in our front door lock. Offered to fix the lock for another £50 but just did that myself :lol:
