I reckon I average a total of 1 can of fizzy pop every two weeks. Other household members guzzle the stuff though. Mrs mik can barely cope with a 20min car journey without a can of diet bru - which has always confused me. :?

Yeah, genuinely not judging a such, but I doubt I drink more than a can or two every year, occasionally I'll spoil a cheap whisky with Coke splash. It's just too sweet and synthetic tasting to me now.

That said, I barely drink these days either, occasional IPA or whisky.

TBF I usually buy the nicer colas, Fentimans or Fever Tree. Quite like Fritz Cola and that has the added benefit of being full of caffeine .

I hate that @scotta

To be clear, I'm all about the caffeine, copious tea and a morning fresh coffee most days, I'm no hippy smoothie drinker. I do stick to water after dinner though, just easier and doesn't set my reflux off 😊

If I’m eating out in a restaurant then it’s always a beer with whatever if I’m buying. Really don’t care much for wine, rather don’t care about paying 7x markup for their crap wine.
Takeaway/fast food it’s always a soft drink.
How about not having a sig at all?

Not got to the point where you stop imbibing liquids after dinner yet? Avoids waking up in the night to go for a wee...

I don't drink them much, I'll have a can of full fat coke very occasionally as a treat (especially if there's a reason I can't have a beer as the treat). I mostly drink water, maybe a bottle of fizzy water with a meal deal for example. If I've got a bland lunch and fancy a bit of something sweeter I may get a coke zero if I find myself in a shop, but I'm now going to substitute that for Pepsi max as it is indeed nicer. Possibly works out to one a week or one a fortnight.

Beer and green tea are the other things I drink. One green tea per weekday probably, and usually a beer (or two) at the weekend and the odd singular beer during the week if the mood takes me.

I would like to drink more beer at the weekend, but the little one gets bored after half an hour in the pub!

I don't drink much fizzy pop but if I do then it's Pepsi Max or Pepsi Max cherry.

Caffeine delivery is taken care of by my bean 2 cup Mellita machine.

This problem can be fixed by whiskey. Who drinks it is up to you 😝

Thankfully the pubs I go to don't let children in. Imagine them all off their faces on whisky

Lots of pop snobbery in this thread. Hate cherry ruined drinks.

ANY human who “can’t function” till they have a tea, coffee, coke or anything other than water is a drug addict, FACT!

I love a can or bottle of fizzy pop, I don’t need one to function.

I spent 30 minutes waiting for a colleague to find a socket for his kettle once as he just couldn’t imagine starting work without a cup of tea

FTFY.
If you get all wobbly-lipped about the opinion of Internet strangers, maybe it's time to take a bath with the toaster as you'll never amount to sh1t anyway.

After a month of drinking only water, a cold can or glass bottle of Coke is one of life’s great pleasures.
