This weather

Post by Simon »

Fuck this fucking weather. Fuck it to hell. It's pissed it down every sodding day in May. Several days (including today) I've actually had to boost the heating to make the house warm. In May! And there is no fucking end in sight.

Fuck.

What other English speaking countries are there with a decent climate and a functioning state healthcare system?

It's bloody rubbish. I thought we'd be into some decent weather when they started work at our house but sadly not. Barely had chance to get much use out of the new garden furniture either and the BBQ is like a garden ornament 😂

On Tuesday I ran my kids 6 miles to Scouts in lovely sunshine, on the way home there was a thunderstorm, then a hailstorm with sunshine and triple rainbows to the side. Typical Scottish summer day really.

Haven't had any rain for a while but have currently got the uber winds (forecast to be in the 50s mph around midday) bringing more in, and being feckin' noisy with it

It’s just so maddeningly changeable. You can pop out to the shops in bright sunshine and blue skies then have the heavens open on you 5 minutes later.

Meant to start getting better next week thank goodness.

It's absolutely shocking here. Today's my birthday and to be honest can't be bothered to go out.

Been the same here all of May. Feckin' atrocious. I went to pick the boy up from school the other day and it was fairly warm, no clouds. So I didn't take my coat. Naturally I got drenched as by the time we were on our way back we were in the middle of some feckin tropical storm with hail.

It can definitley GTF now.

The whole year has been shite so far. There were a couple of lovely days back in feb which made everyone think spring was coming early, then it all went to crap. When it hasn’t been raining is been either windy or freezing cold.

I don’t ever remember having to scrape my windows in the morning so often so late in the year!

Yes some decent dry weather would be nice now.

And the profiteering cvnts not wanting 2x the money or a house for a the HT week would be nice, too.
