effing bastard pheasants!

Post by Gavin »

Stupid fucking pheasant ran out in front of the car today and it has punched in my hockey stick DRL and broken the plastic black trim as well.

No doubt that will be an expensive thing to track down! :(

Did you at least get your own back by cooking it?

Two veggies in the house so no point! If I had realised the damage I would have gone back and kicked it fucking head in. :(

If it is just the outer trim needing replaced I have found a seller in Latvia at £35 so fingers crossed that is all it is. I will need to cobble something together or remove the LED strip though until then or it may fall out completely. Might call my local scrappie just in case

Despite KILLERS like Gav, I am pleased to report that I have a new Pheasanty love - a boy this time - who is coming daily to the garden for a good scoff.

My male pheasant demands to chomp on my nuts daily - if he is good he shall then receive my seed.

@mik I'm disappointed. I requested impuntant work, not innuendo and double entendre.

Well, the new trim is under £20 from Mercedes so that could have been worse. The light is mostly intact and the broken parts can be compound glued.

If it can be fitted through the wheel arch labour should be cheap but I am not attempting it with the wiring and sensors etc.

I would have thought that people would be flocking to this thread with bird puns.
If you get all wobbly-lipped about the opinion of Internet strangers, maybe it's time to take a bath with the toaster as you'll never amount to sh1t anyway.

You are unlikely to hear a murmuration from many posters around these parts, hens I thought I'd show willing. :)

Everyone is always eagle to write a pun or two, but take a deep breath, puff out, puffin, now swallow and don’t thrush it - this way, when you take your tern and put wren to paper, you are less likely to penguin it up. Damn.
