When referring to either the metal, or the fabric flattening device - does anybody anywhere in the world say “eye-Ron” instead of “eye-orn” :?

Nope, but theres a certain amount of irony in the spelling and pronunciation of ironic.

I’ll often announce I’m teeing off with a 4 eye ron only because I know it really winds up my playing partner.
