Integrated LEDs

Post by Mito Man »

Just doing a few jobs like replacing blown bulbs. Kitchen counter unit - integrated LED, whole unit must be replaced but it’s old and no longer made plus a pretty odd design so the only real solution would be to replace all 8
Patio light, open it up and it’s another bloody integrated LED, only choice is to replace the whole thing @ £90.

And don’t get me started on floodlights, the old halogen ones were shite and constantly blowing bulbs and using hundreds of watts. Well the LED ones aren’t much better as the whole unit seems to last less than 2 years
How about not having a sig at all?

This thread has just thrown the original topic in the shade. Is it time to cast a light onto the original post and see if we can offer some enlightening and helpful suggestions for a decent replacement bit of kit?

I agree they are annoying. Just had to replace some bedside lights because one had a failed integrated LED.

Sorry that wasn't an amusing pun.
