Saw a sign in the petrol station saying, “If you have a virus please do not share it with our staff”

The update on the weird food thing is the conspiracy theory that researchers from the viral lab in Wuhan (where the coronavirus-19 strain was isolated about 3 years ago) might have been selling dead research animals for food rather than incinerating them...

I went into a dissociative trance to figure all this out and am now happy to confirm that the CCP released the virus intentionally. Largely but not entirely as a result of western support for the HK protests (which you won't hear about anymore).

They wanted to ensure that the world knows that Chinese problems are the worlds problems. They have 1.4 billion problems and 40% of their available agricultural land is already polluted or has suffered unsustainable erosion. And that's using their own official figures. They need to expand their empire and to do that they need control of the South China Sea.

We took their thirty pieces of brightly coloured plastic and now when China get's a cold, we all get a cold. We should've kept them impoverished and opium addicted while we still could.

I've just had an email from the parish council about what to do when the virus hits the village. It's laughable. I've had my own comprehensive plans in place for weeks now.

See you all (well some of you and not really see you either hopefully) on the other side.

In all seriousness, if it kicks them into the 21st century with regard to some of their more unacceptable practices such as eating anything that moves, poor hygiene and generally a lack of consideration for the natural environment then some good will have come of this.

Was watching a YouTube video last night from a Chinese woman explaining the hygiene there. No hand sanitizer in hospitals before the virus hit, no soap in toilets. Chinese toilets don’t have toilet paper either, if you forget to bring your own then you’re gonna have a bad day
Older generation don’t understand how germs work, they think just running their hand under a tap = clean.

Wet market was quite gross, no refrigeration, everyone pokes meat to see how firm and fresh it is, then lick their fingers to count money or open plastic bags

All of Chinese state tv is shite communism, you’d think they could chuck in a few hand washing and hygiene ads every hour...

Chinese have an odd way to do toilets. This was in a shipyard in Guangjong.

An open trough with a tap running at one end.

3 foot high pieces of wood separating cubicles, no doors.

Water but it’s a funny colour.

No soap, no shower head in cubicle, no toilet paper.

Add in the excrement smeared on the walls and no ventilation and you have a good challenge to leave without every arse born disease going :P

I didn’t shake any hands when there, just waves.

It’s an amazing country still.

....A third of French people don’t wash their hands after going to the toilet and less than half before eating, while a fifth of Frenchmen change their underwear twice a week at best.

WTAF?
Cheers,

I bet the stats wouldn't be hugely different over here either...

I never fail to be amazed by the number of office bathrooms I use where they've had to put reminders up for people to wash their hands after 💩. If they're having to do that, they should maybe review their hiring criteria.

Although saying that, I was sitting next to a senior manager (who has a large team and is responsible for 20M+ budgets)yesterday who had to attend an hour-long course where they were being assessed whether certain scenarios & questions were appropriate or not.

Questions along the like of is it ok to say.... "well if you don't like football you're just gay".... "you look great in that dress" .... "I know your husband is away next week, how about we go out for a drink and you can thank me properly for helping you with that work thing last week".
