Should have been doing that before COVID. ;)
Unless you're washing it with soap I can't see that being much benefit for CV19. Besides, if it's in the fridge it'll probably be enough to dry the virus out and kill it anyway. It's the plastic packaging you want to watch out for.

I'm sure there's a lot wrong with it, but looks CAF to my eyes.
On the one hand, the spoiler and wheels are suitably OTT and it's a nice colour. Probably sounds good too with that exhaust.
On the other hand it's £40k, pretending to be. a Turbo when it isn't, and has 124k on the clock.
Saying that, I've just clicked the link to see others for sale and £40k seems a bargain by comparison
Yeah, I think the beauty of it is it's not a low mileage turbo so you don't feel guilty about using it or fettling it. I admit £40k is a lot of money for what it is (given how much they were a decade ago), but still just about as cheap as you're going to find it.

As soon as I get the shopping home, rather than before each use... ;)

Go see what E28 M5s sell for and they’re way less rare than that Alpina.

Those seats alone are worth £50k 😉

Aye, that’s why one of my never gonna happen projects is dropping an S50 in a lesser E28 shell .

I nearly bought a 520 auto a wee while ago for it.

It runs fine. It definitely won’t be doing 8 mpg.

It’s about 240 miles, so I figure maybe £65 in fuel.
Just thought I'd quote that...
That doesn’t mean it’ll continue to run fine 😉
I look forward seeing the completion of this car in 2035 on Car SOS :P
