Had a mobile tyre fitter come round to put some new boots on and I'm wondering how they can be making much, considering the price is not that much different to just buying the tyres from somewhere like BlackCircles.

Does anyone know what the profit margins are like on tyres?

I would imagine the date of the rubber defines how much they cost the supplier - older stock obviously cheaper
