Tyreleader Reviews?

Post by scotta »

Anyone used Tyreleader?

They are quoting AD08R at £40 less than blackcircles.

Loads of times.

Sometimes takes a few days longer for them to arrive, but I like that they stretch wrap the tyres in pairs instead of using strapping bands over the beads. ( well, they always used to, I've not bought off them for a while)

Had zero issues in the 10+ times I've used them.

Yeah, same as Harry - used them a number of times, never any problems.

Oponeo or tyres-pneus been my recent go-to’s, or Costco when the Michelin deals are on.

Fid it hard to believe Michelin, Goodyear and Bridgestone wouldn’t do anything in that size but found the online thing useless when replacing the 911 tyres, got a voucher and they were significantly cheaper than anyone else for N3 rated PS2’s

225 45 16 are getting harder to find, they're what I need for the e30 and keep looking at other sizes for a similar total diameter as there's so little choice.

That would involve replacing 4 instead of replacing 2.

tyres arrived yesterday - dates on the tyres are 1516 meaning they are 3 years old. Not impressed with that - Yokohama warranty is 5 years. The worn out tyres im replacing are dated 2017. Not sure if i have a case to complain though. The AD08R tyres are discontinued.

Thoughts?

More than 3 years isn't it? 15 refers to week 15. We're on week 28 now so 3 years 3 months. I'd complain.

Yep.

Complaint sent.
Information
The delivered tyres have a date of 1516 on them meaning they are over 3 years old. Id like an exchange to tyres that are new / dated 2019.

Hmm, that's a bit off.

I know they do sell older tyres, but they're usually cheaper and have DOT2016 or similar on the listing on their site.

They were £92 each delivered - £30 cheaper than elsewhere but sold as new tyres. but at £92 per corner i wouldnt call them budget basement prices.
