and how do we think that’s gone...

He sold the design IIRC. So well enough.

Re: T.50
I heard about the f1 fans thing recently too, maybe it was that jay Leno vid?
Anyway, I don't think it's true at all, the fans would have to be huuge and deafeningly loud to create any sort of 'suction' could certainly be used to help reduce a high preclude area and reduce lift, but suction on a relatively tall road car? Doubt it.

Re: T.50
I think I first heard of it on some YouTube video like that.
There’s some stuff about it online too. This is from the handbook supposedly

How about not having a sig at all?

If only there was some way to easily look for things on the internet.
If clicking links is also too hard. He confirmed the design had been sold but didn’t name the buyer.

and yet the first link for t25s on google is a 2019 review saying they are going to be built by GMA...ZedLeg wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2019 8:30 pmIf only there was some way to easily look for things on the internet.

Almost like that sale back in 2013 was bullshit... a bit like the whole crappy concept.

@ Mito - He (or Zytek, whoever they are) tried one of those too. Not sure it is any better

second line.
This is the revolutionary and endearing Murray T25. Designed and built at Gordon Murray Design studio-workshop near Guildford,
Re: T.50
Aye, those prototypes were built there. The article finishes on this.
At the moment, of course, you can't buy a Murray T25. If the T25 makes production, though, it’ll certainly be a compelling proposition to combat the hustle and bustle of typical city driving conditions.
Which is where it links to the old article.

Look, how many people on here have said their ideal supercar has:-
a: a NA V12
2: a manuel
iii: three seats
D: rwd
5: 1000kgs or less
Having obviously hung around here too long, GM has delivered the design. Now he needs someone to build it; i reckon Dan, Flewy and Exiges could make it work..

Cool, so sticking only to the published facts, there was alegedly a sale to a mystery buyer 6 years ago, but since then there’s been no production models, no updates on the sale or any progress with the models and currently all that exists is some a very old fashioned concept cars.ZedLeg wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2019 9:00 pmAye, those prototypes were built there. Re: T.50
You seem determined to prove a point here Rich, but I’m not sure what it is.
He built the car to show off the production method, then sold the designs. So from the POV of Murray that’s a success no?
If the manufacturer didn’t then make the car that’s their decision. Companies work on designs and concepts that never make production all the time.

Re: T.50
if they did sell the design, then sure. Personally, I think it’s all part of the GM self-promotion train - but I’m more than happy to be proved wrong.ZedLeg wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2019 9:18 pm You seem determined to prove a point here Rich, but I’m not sure what it is.

Re: T.50
This is all bollocks I have made up btw...
the more I read, the more I think this whole T50 concept is just an elaborate promo for GMD rather than an actual car.. and all because of TVR.
I think GMD had all their eggs in the TVR relaunch - the T25/27 Had gone nowhere, the i stream concept was now public so not much to be sold, but the Griffith would (and still could I suppose) be the perfect proof of concept for GMD being involved in bringing their I stream construction to production.
They made a big loss as a company last year (probably investing too much in the TVR design) and now desperately need a boost. Wheel out one of GMs old sketches, get Cosworth to join in (the relationship is there from TVR), let the press jump on it and try and forget about the TVR losses and get new customers for the design firm.
