Decent car YouTubes
Re: Decent car YouTubes
Watched that and pondered how much are they now... yep, still silly money!
Oui, je suis un motard.
Re: Decent car YouTubes
That video was clearly a promo piece before he puts it up for sale on Collecting Cars. So we’ll see what a high miler GT3 goes for soon.
Re: Decent car YouTubes
Some quite stupid people in this Rufford ford video. Even compared to the usual videos.

Re: Decent car YouTubes
Shouldn't the people laughing/spectating, warn the drivers they risk destroying their cars? Or do they do that and they go through anyway?
Re: Decent car YouTubes
The mere fact that there is a large audience for this spectator event should set alarm bells ringing. But as you can see from the driving styles on display there is quite a lot of fuckwittery going on. A massive sign with flashing lights probably wouldn't warn them off.speedingfine wrote: ↑Mon Jan 03, 2022 5:39 pmShouldn't the people laughing/spectating, warn the drivers they risk destroying their cars? I was thinking the same! It’s like an automotive blood sport with all the jeeringspeedingfine wrote: ↑Mon Jan 03, 2022 5:39 pmShouldn't the people laughing/spectating, warn the drivers they risk destroying their cars? Or do they do that and they go through anyway?

Shirley someone living nearby could build a 25m pontoon and make a fortuna charging vehicles £20 to cross?
Re: Decent car YouTubes
On some of the vids there are road closed/flood signs, but the road isn't physically blocked so...speedingfine wrote: ↑Mon Jan 03, 2022 5:39 pmShouldn't the people laughing/spectating, warn the drivers they risk destroying their cars? Or do they do that and they go through anyway?
Re: Decent car YouTubes
I’d assume that’s for the farmers in their tractors
Re: Decent car YouTubes
I started watching this (always good to see Oli - previously of our parish of course - doing shizzle) but thought it was going to be mostly focussed on the configurator (which part 2/2 is, and didn’t really grab me).speedingfine wrote: ↑Mon Dec 27, 2021 8:36 am
Just in case you haven't seen it. Great that GM is doing videos like these to show all the details of the T50.
Following a prod from @scotta however, I can confirm that part 1/2 is defo worth watching. Some of the info on the components is just awesome.
Re: Decent car YouTubes
Ah, yes
The in the op was for the people ignoring the road closed signage because no barrier, not for the absence of barrier.

Re: Decent car YouTubes
If people are ignoring the warning signs, road closed signs, the large body of water, the depth markers and the crowds of spectators, then I feel no guilt laughing at people being idiots

Re: Decent car YouTubes
Forgot to mention I watched this last week. I knew what was coming anyway, but still - ouch! It's only a boggo E30, so in the grand scheme it's no big deal, but given the backstory with the original owner I could feel the hurt when he stepped aside at the end.
