His videos are good but he could do with scripting them a bit as he repeats himself a lot.

The Driftworks Murcielago looks incredible!!!!

The build is really interesting and they have put a huge amount of work into it.

Craigs supercharged Pajero Ego is pretty cool too.

Walkaround has some interesting detail, seems a good mix of style and performance, was a bit worried from the first video it was a bit millennial.

A few reviews for the new M3/4 are up. I've watched the Carfection one and Chris Harris's. People seem to like it despite the looks

Upcoming project from retro power (Gordon Murray escort people). Was it @mik who had a thing for these?

Hey, there's a lot of effort in a hatchback conversion.

Jonny Smith had been doing a V6 conversion on an Allegro as a “sleeper” for several months. This is a different one?

Edit: yes - read post properly mik

Realistically he's been pottering around it for years but having a 'proper' YT channel seems to have kicked his arse into properly getting it moving - it is, after all, a bit different.

Just now, a bit less different :D

Chris Harris's review is pretty meh, I thought. The engine just feels like a more powerful M340i, the gearbox isn't as good as the old DCT and it's less angry and lairy than the F80. It's 'mighty competent'.

Interesting that Chris has the same dislike of wing mirrors which are wider at the top than the bottom. I always think they look really odd as if they're mounted upside down!
I reckon it will sell well though. In 12 months time if you want a performance saloon then its either the M3, a 4 cylinder C63 or the RS4 which will be pretty old by then. Regardless there's only 1 straight 6 RWD car left there.
Next one must surely be an EV or very much hybridised so this is the last classic M3.
How about not having a sig at all?

I still respect the M3/4 but the lust for one isn’t really there any more for me - the E90/92 were the last ones that got me going. :?

This. Zero desirability for me, nor the Merc and Audi equivalents. This ties into my point int he EV thread about the desirability of modern ICE cars. When even the 3 German brands' lose desirability of their flagship performance models, it speaks volumes about the future of ICE cars imo.

I have therefore decided that it’s time for @Rich B to ditch his plan to get a £45k M3/4 and instead get
1. £25k Elise S3 CR to be Scott’s fwend
2 £20k Disco 4 HSE - the most awesome family transportation that can (almost) emulate a van for storage space.

Thank me laterz Rich

1. I won't be spending anywhere near £45k!
2. I don't need or want a 4x4
3. I already have an estate family car so don't need another

I do want a CR though!
