That all hangs together well, the extra oomph and running gear mods just seem like an extra bonus 8-)
I'm not that familiar with Lotus, so if you'd told me it was a factory build I've believed you without question. I like the glow of the rear lights, I get the idea if I was behind it in stop-go traffic my retinas would escape unscathed. Mentioning eyes, because it may well just be mine, is the front access panel a slightly different shade? I can imagine Liquid is a pain to match, especially in that situation.

Exposed gear linkage a-la-Webster. 8-)
I'm not convinced about the "afterburner" style Ferrari vents (and the cost!) - I preferred the Merc ones, but otherwise, it's a lovely thing.
Strange mix of at-least 11 year old Fiesta stalks and air vents and then Vauxhall headlight switch on the newer non-touchpad versions

Do you suspect they are trying to pretend they are a low volume manufacturer? :?

The 90's Frod key on mine is pretty pony (yet still a millionty times more acceptable than vehicle-shaped item) and yes some of the switchgear is from more mundane vehicles, but if i'd wanted bespoke beautiful stalks, I'd probably still be saving up for my Pagani.

No, just strange in the sense they're using parts from two different manufacturers

Lotus have always been rummaging around in other manufacturers parts bins. It does have its benefits, usually because you can get the bits cheap.

I watched it earlier and have to say it felt quite light and uninteresting. Rather disappointing sadly!

They are indeed very desirable without the wing and leaper sticker. Not sure how it qualifies for entry this year though, I thought they came out about 18 months ago.

Doesn’t the Zonda have Rover 45 heating and ventilation controls?

I know we've posted a few of these but watch the first few cars, Quattro, Corolla, Mantas... then watch Tony Pond hustle that barge of a Rover SD1. :o 8-)

And the Muira used indicator stalks from the Mini, they've all done it from day one.
