Re: Today’s want
You'll struggle to get a decent standard 5/6 for £15k so the price doesn't look that daft. I wouldn't pay that much for one though regardless of spec.

I like that a lot. Looks far better resolved than the M2 imo.

It’s more like a 2020 version of the Z3 M coupe with those arches.
How about not having a sig at all?

Probably a bit optimistic. The text says:Ascender wrote: ↑Mon Jun 08, 2020 9:15 am I mean, this is hardly a strange one, but my favourite Turbo in S form, yes please.
24,000 miles from new?! I guess someone will buy this and it will maybe do a couple of thousand miles a year until it gets sold on again.
https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/199 ... 93-turbo-s
The current owner acquired the car in September 2017, and has enjoyed around 800 miles behind the wheel since then.
So a couple of hundred miles a year, tops.
Re: Today’s want
I’d still prefer the M2, but it does look like a very thorough job. Presumably it has M2 bits under the skin too - drivetrain/diff/etc and not just spacers to bring the wheels out!
Re: Today’s want
That M140i is in Leamington Spa in those photos - not a million miles from where the chap who built the E90 and F80 M3 Tourings is based. Wonder if it was him that did it?
Possibly not since he seems to add aftermarket wheels to his cars.

But most likely go for a boring 2.0 TDI version.

I don't think dogs cock red suits the A6. A colleague had one and there are nicer colours available.Alex_ wrote: ↑Thu Jun 11, 2020 11:28 am Tempted by this: https://usedcars.audi.co.uk/usedcar/aud ... ,1,t_geo,U

With Jobbo interior, the FSI version of the V8 which I'm a bit wary of after mine cost me so much, and, er, an interesting exterior.

Again, just a steering wheel and gearknob swap will easily make that interior acceptable, that exterior just looks ridiculous.

Re: Today’s want
As said the gear knob and steering wheel change, red leather could be dyed black if needed, and the red trim should just be pull off and stick black on, or vinyl wrap it
But the “R6” badging on the back offends me more than the rest of the car. Can’t even rebadge it properly

Re: Today’s want
Yes, and the wheels don't look original (which seems to be common across a lot of Seymour Pope's stock, having checked their website) so I wonder whether the awful paint job is as it came out of the factory?
That era A6 has an interior which really doesn't work when you spec it up; there might be leather around the dash but there is a massive edifice of plastic in front of the passenger which completely negates the intended luxury effect. And the mismatch of carpet colour to trim plastics is offensive.
35k miles, driven at no more than 10mph, judging by the steering wheel and driver's seat, too. That FSI engine is going to be in dire need of a decoke.
