If only they hadn’t run out of paint halfway down. ;)

That has got to be one of the least flattering paintjobs on a Mk3.

I’ve always liked the Sprint colours, but would probably take a standard paint job given the choice.

Nice price. Think it’s the first time I’ve seen one beginning with a 3..

The early ones have been hovering in the high-30's for a while now, and they seem fairly stable, probably maintained due to the 'high' price of S2 Exiges keeping everything else fairly buoyant.

I'd still rather have a roadster, though.

Those paint jobs just remind me of flood damage

That is gorgeous, but if I swapped the Cayman GTS for it I'd be in the dog house for sure.

I thought it’s well priced also.

I’d probably take standard print over fancy graphic, but I do like Sprint and usually they are in red rather than blue.

Here’s a blue S2, 39k miles, £33995  :o

Are they much different? You can take the roof panel off the coupe anyway can’t you?

Always preferred the simpler look of the roadster too.

It's a relativiely quick job to convert a hardtop to roadster. The softtop part itself would be £700ish, plus a couple of brackets and a few hours labour.

No spoiler, no roof, no front splitter. I *think* unless you spec the Race pack it's got softer dampers too? It just looks a bit cleaner to my eyes, and removable roof adds alot to the experience.

As mentioned yes, you can drill some holes and remove the roof then fit a softtop to a standard Exige, but it's more about the look in general. I never thought I'd say this, but I'd also seriously consider the IPS

Jeez, didn't realise S2 prices were so strong. :? Should have held on to mine! Made a few quid on the 'xige though, and I don't think the 7 owes me anything either. Depreciation can fuck off.:D

Edit - Oh, and yes, I do love S3 Exiges. Glad to see prices are gradually getting a bit more interesting.

I injured my left knee in October and it’s still bothering me, so I’ve been pondering what car to buy if I couldn’t drive manual anymore and had to sell my 996.

It’s the usual suspects on my list and my imaginary budget: CSL, Cayman R / Spyder, Evora.....

I really can't see how anyone can prefer an S3 Roadster. They look so awkward compared to the Coupe IMO. 3 of my mates with them have all removed the roofs. Really don't get it, looks shit.

You've clearly demonstrated your point by posting a photo without any S3 Roadsters....
