You've come up with the perfect solution there. :)

Nice. But £247,000...

I like it. Shame they won't offer a petrol though. The 2.3 ecoboost and a more sensible gearbox would probably be fun.

Aye, I guess they don't want to put the V6 in it because it would step on the big Raptor's toes but I can't see any good reason for not having the 2.3 as an option.

Surely the big raptor only sells in big countries anyway? I guess the reality of pick ups in this country is more about looking the part more than being genuinely fast (whilst doing decent mpg).

My Navara was no faster and I still enjoyed it.

Aye, makes me wonder if people will actually spend £50k on one or keep buying Wildtraks with stupid bodykits.

They probably will. The lower payload of the Raptor means VAT can't be claimed back on it.

Yeah the farmer wanted one of these or an Isuzu pick up which looked similar to the raptor but they can’t carry much and the insurance group made them pretty pointless for him.
The Raptor is odd, if they put a decent engine in I’m sure many more people would buy them - look at the X Class. I see 10 a day in London all driven by young men and women who have never touched a hammer. And that’s a rebadged overpriced Navara!

A mate of mine is getting rid of his X-Class as he's sick of people taking the piss out him and asking about his Navara

There’s a Brabus X Class owned by some terrible person nearby me. I was first intrigued if it had a saucy engine. But nope you pay Brabus £8000 to get a remap and some wheels. 200 bhp and 0-60 in 11.5. Mercedes - the best or nothing. This is definitely the latter.

Ford Raptor is #1 selling vehicle in New Zealand - seeing heaps and heaps of these everywhere, ours come with the Ecoboost. I quite fancy a go after taking my mate's normal Ranger into forests...

Also FYI, #2 selling car in NZ is a Hilux, #3 is normally Mitsubishi Triton (but this last period it's the new Corolla due to fleet sales).

I'd say less than 5% of them ever go offroad!

415bhp, drives like a Mitsubishi EVO, sounds like an impressive bit of kit.

I like it. 👍

ETA. I find the price quite disagreeable 😱

The price is A LOT. And the Max Power-looking spoiler is just awful.
