Surely that is something you can only decide to do if it ain’t yours

I’m sure I read that it took something like an hour just to get the undertray off so you could even take a look.

For 56k I’m guessing the repaint is essentially a full rebuild!!

It’s never been a car that really interested me tbh. 5sp auto box and weird lifeless brakes were both a real turn-off and I am not fantastically taken by the styling. SLS always looked more interesting to me.

The noise however is fantastic, and the MSO mods are cool. Anyone that spends the thick end of £65k just to paint their car a different colour though....

I love the SLR. Silver with standard wheels for me. Shame about the cheap dash, they could have spent a bit more cash there and made it a better place to spend a thousand miles.
