A week on and the car has settled slightly, it's sitting 20mm lower at the front and 25mm at the rear, not much but seems to be enough that it's now scuffing the arch liners over compressions when four up which is a bit dissapointing. Will have to see if they can be adjusted or modified for a little more clearance. I'm not removing them and I'm fed up of cars that feel like they're falling to bits over every bump

Tried getting the Android Auto thing to work in the Focus, but due to a known issue with OnePlus that appears impossible. As it is a courtesy car I can't be bothered to spend more time on it, so instead bought an ยฃ8 screen mount from Halfrauds. Two mins to fit, but blimey it vibrates badly.

The driver's seat is uncomfortable and gives me upper lower (if that makes sense) back pain. The seat is hard and feels flat and unyielding, and isn't quite wide enough to fit me.

A minor annoyance is that the button on the indicator stalk that activates the voice control options on my car (useful) now turns the lane guidance off and on (not useful). How often do they anticipate people will change the setting on that?

Not quite. The upper part of my lower back, but below the middle.

TBH I've been looking at it after a mate mentioned it to be a few months ago. It's something I plan to look into, looks like a laugh without the risks of a trackday.
Indeed it is.

Dave!
What about cars with no pavement at all?
Since my phone updated about 6 months ago my predictive text is atrocious.

Presume I just have a tumour on the brain and it makes sense though.

Dave!

I still have no idea what you intended to say.

Aardvark?

Cushion?

Oblong?

The Up looks really smart Matty.

Evora & the Up make a good one-two punch ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸฅŠ

Can you find a medical professional to identify which vertebrae it is so we know EXACTLY where on your lower upper middle back pain is?

Or would she tell you to stop being silly?

I'll ask my wife then, does she qualify?

EVO did one too:

The seats, for me, are the big thing. As the Evora seats are just off the shelf Recaro items, I've been told they fit the Up. I might nick the passenger seat out of the Evora and whack it in the Up and see what it's like. At ยฃ1200 a seat though, they're not cheap so I'm worried I'll like it too much and not want to put it back

I blame Rev.

Today I properly cleaned the wheels on the Mini. They're silver, apparently. I also put on some stuff to stop them getting filthy again.

I was also disappointed at how filthy the freshly cleaned windscreen was, especially in low sun. I've scraped it with a blade, used a clay bar and then waxed it.

We'll see how that goes. My next post may be from a ditch.

Itโ€™s s 1am and Iโ€™m in a services. I broke my sub by playing The Weekend too loud but managed to fix it with superglue 8-)

When checking the tyre pressures (Iโ€™m heavily loaded so check them a lot) and my front right tyre is 4psi low. The valve stem was leaking so Iโ€™ve also fixed that with superglue 8-)

I hope to come across someone with a broken back and Iโ€™ll make it 3 out of 3 for the Gorilla glue :D

Celebrating with an extra large White chocolate Twix.

Dave!

You should superglue both fingers of your extra large Twix together to make it even extra larger.
