Pfff...my Pug 106 had that system in 1993. Not with a 20" wheel, mind.

As did most PSA and Renault cars of the 80s and 90s

This makes me laugh as you'll spend at least 250k on your kid. I mean look at the out house shed. A perfectly skilled individual effort plus materials that cost 2 grand. 😀👍

Currently in Newcastle after driving 500 miles so far on holiday with my exhaust hanging off one side of the manifold. I'm not going to lie it's fuckin crap driving your sports car below 4k revs. On the plus side the weather so far has been tragic so keeping the roof up was a bonus.

Super unleaded is expensive here and petrol stations lacking.

my kid is two. It’s pretty normal for a two year old to live at home and not have a job!

Correct
Sorry Harry, I should add to that: “and never sell them” 😄

Anyone want a set of steel wheels for a Grand Vitara and some random E39 and E60/61 5-series alloys?

Snapped off nuts X 3. The other side is missing 1 so will get that done in a few weeks at MOT time.

Since buying the Landy over 10 years ago the bonnetvrelease has never worked. You have to either get someone to pull the bonnet release cable as you lift or jam your hand through the grill, cutting it up and pushing the release lever while lifting. A pain when I was running a spare on the bonnet.

So the bonnet release spring perch had seized well before I got it. Today I made it not seized and the spring which had been coil bound for 10 years popped instantly back to shape and it works perfectly 8-) . Land Rocer quality

It’s a modern feature now 8-)

I’ve also fitted new bonnet rubber bobbins and some far too expensive Old Man Emu dampers for the back, these are pretty much the best standard height dampers you can get so I’m expecting big things.

Exciting times!!
