Very nice 8-)

Now... the question that springs to mind is, given RSs only ever had a choice of colours for the decals, are you painting that bumper red or the rest of the car white??

ETA: 9e have this lovely Atlas GT3 in for sale at the moment that I was sat staring at whilst I collected mine. If I didn't need the rear seats I'd be sorely tempted. Weiss Gold wheels are also 8-)

I did think about ‘reverse RS’ graphics, so red car, white decals, white wheels centres :D

That Atlas Grey has all the right mods. 8-) I don’t think Weiss Gold suits Atlas though :o

Nice one. The 3 series is due and they are quoting £96.75 for an oil service. Thats probaly £50 worth of oil & filter there to do it myself.

Good, isn't it. Mines being done Monday so I had to cancel and rebook. I'd haggled down from £740-£680 and now it's costing £564 which is far more agreeable.

But rear seats were optional in GT3’s until the 997.2 (I think) which had a thinner floor in the rear seat foot wells (allegedly)

You are nearly right for non-club sports versions though - there wasn't an option to reinstate per se, but up to and including 997.1 I believe they retained the mounting brackets so you could cut away the relevant bits of carpet and fit them back.

You still end up with a car that you'd have to declare to your insurer as modified, however, as it is registered with the DVLA as a 2 seat car so not ideal... Would also be hard to go backwards in age to a prior model and pay an extra £20k or more (plus seat fitting) to do so.

997.2 GT3s you can't add back the seats as they modified the shell and in any event they are ££££ - £95k for the cheapest RHD I can see and actually above the price of the cheapest 991 GT3s :(

I think that's great - it's not pretending to be an RS if it's in a colour scheme which wasn't available on the RS, and it's not deviating far from standard (some stickers and a change of wheel colour, easy and cheap to reverse).

Stickers could work, but white wheels would look poop.

Moving away from Kin's wheels, I discovered today that my Volvo has a GPF (gasoline particulate filter). I had no idea these were even a thing until VAG made a song and dance about introducing them for WLTP compliance.
