Neighbour has an egg shell white convertible that I admire a lot. Proportions are perfect. Surprised they don't get more love really from journalists as it seems to have everything they ask for (na engine, manual, rear wheel drive, small, lightweight, affordable).

Yours looks very special 8-)

My next door neighbour has a white one same as that- it sounds ok and looks decent (rear view is a little challenging). I like them!

I never realised they also came with a hardtop (that said I don't think I've seen very many of these latest MX5's on the road at all).
How about not having a sig at all?

I’m not sure this is really “fleet” but I CBA making a specific thread and in here it’ll quickly disappear and get forgotten when I don’t get around to doing anything.

I need to tidy up my garage and get rid of stuff. Instead I’m adding to the mess, today I picked up 2x large empty gas cylinders just because they were free  One should become an extra reservoir for my compressor. The other, errrr, dunno. Clever people do clever arty stuff.

I would have thought they are worth quite a few £ as cylinders as there is a shortage. You can't buy them full atm only exchange them so people want empties.

Really ? They probably need to be certified / safety checked or something ? A compressor runs way lower pressures than these are designed for so I've no qualms on that front for my use.

If they're worth something then I'll stick one on ebay and keep the other !! Free cylinder & some cash too 8-)

@Sundayjumper Definitely worth money as @Carlos states.

I very recently paid £50 for an empty 19kg Calor Propane bottle as I needed an empty one to exchange. Calor wouldn’t sell me a full one otherwise Lots of sellers looking for more. No need for any safety checks etc - they do those when it goes for refilling.

Looks like around £100 in your boot to me.

@dan they look like they would qualify as “long tube headers” 🤔

They’re actually quite short as the length is tuned for peak power at 9200 revs.

Short long tube headers. Or long short tube headers. Ja.

Nice mx5 John 😎

My parking space at the moment seems to be exceedingly unlucky on the Curry eating seagull deposits.

Not many cars at this price point have an LSD and too few see a new generation get smaller and lighter than the model it replaces.

I think it would get more love if they took a leaf out of Toyotas book and did something along the lines of the GRs.

This'll give you a laugh. Well, keeping your car (and garage fob) keys in the microwave on the off chance it acts as a faraday cage, is a great idea. Until you 6 year old son accidentally leans on it and sets it off, frying them all within 3 seconds. Plenty of sparks, apparently.

Swift: Keyless go - can use physical key to enter car but start/stop button ineffective. Both keys out of action. Car is now a giant blue paperweight on the driveway. Fortunately not blocking anything else in.
Yeti: Not keyless go but one of the keys was on the same keyring - can use physical key to open the car but when turning the key in the ignition it sets the alarm off, presumably as the key is not recognised. Down to one working key.
Garage: Down to one working fob.
Fabia: Not keyless go and keys kept separately, fortunately.

Bollocks.
Left over crest; tightens.

330e is back on the road again having been parked in the hotel car park from a week last Monday. Window fixed and car hoovered out. Had a good run back up North and did some decent mpg since last fill up. Without leccy it worked out at 46.5mpg on its tiny tank of fossil fuel.

100 miles of electric range done on £5.95 of charge.

Image

In other news the Citroen C5 Aircross hire car did 560 miles at 55mpg.

Came back from Devon yesterday at a very decent av speed of 72 mph  . Got car washed, right rear wheel and brake disk covered in oil. Oil level in car is still at the top so hopefully nothing too serious but probably will be :D

Not mine. Bloke on Vito forum bought a van, in the knowledge it needed a new clutch. Here’s the old clutch once he’d removed it:
