I doubt anyone is, since they're the most nicked car in the country IIRC. But Footman James are always worth a try for anything a bit classic/old.

It's for a Discovery as it happens actually, but yeah they say the same about theft when you call apparently!

I just use AXA for my cars. Remember when I was originally looking into it and people recommended NFU, Lancaster insurance and a few other 4x4 vehicle “friendly” places who all quoted many times more than that!
How about not having a sig at all?

I ended up with A-Plan after much shopping around and hard haggling. F'king ridiculous that the Disco is my most expensive car to insure!

ETA - Flux was close too, and the most willing to negotiate (IIRC I knocked them down from around £400 to a little less than £300 by citing some of the more specialist quotes and juggling NCBs)

I was reading LRO yesterday and one of the articles was about a 300TDi vs Series III. Chap had a steering wheel lock, pedal lock and handbrake lock - bet he can’t wait for LR to start building them again!
Cheers,

My series III was about a hundred quid a year through lancaster insurance. Fully comp, 6k miles a year.

Oh - I mean numerically my point is made, but I file that under "hollow victories" :(

I'd say that you were about as correct about that as you were about the GS.
