Earl's Barton had the usual delightfully bonkers turn out.
I'll have the middle one thanks.

I think it was the Triumph, Evo VI and Volvo P1800 club annual outing, more there than I've seen in years.

A wee Lambo yesterday, I think a Hurracan and a similarly registered 488 in the same car park at Fort Kinnaird. Could have eaten your dinner off either.
Also, a bright yellow Firebird with decals which my boy thought the coolest of the three.

Do Glenvargil still have a showroom down there? Used to see loads of nice stuff around after they moved in.

Johnny Smith filming at Millbrook yesterday. Appeared to be a bunch of small cars and a Defender (old) on tank tracks.

Not sure, I think there is a Porker dealer but these both had private plates on and were parked outside the Smyths toy shop. They had parked with a space between them and someone had plonked a dirty great transit van in the gap!

Ah it looks like they went out of business a few years ago. It's Graypaul Ferrari that's in there now.
That's a shame, I got a passenger ride in a 288 GTO from their old Colinton showroom to my dad's work once when I was a kid.

Mini Moke on German plates. Must have been a miserable drive over with the crap weather!

R33 GTS. Had a GTR spoiler. Bit rusty but with the kerbed wheels and scratched doors it looked like a hard driven daily.
Lidl car park so presumably running costs demanded cheap chicken as dinner!

A quick search suggests this is not unique - Disco2 "Mondial" wheels on a Passat.

Those wheels look terrible on a Passat, but so does the rust.
I've seen plenty of VW vans with Land Rover alloys on so I guess the bolt pattern must be the same.

There's a black Passat in Scarbados with those wheels, but coloured anthracite - it's running on airbags, low as fuck, so it actually looks a lot better than that rusty old wagon.

Not an exciting spot but possibly a rare one- an x5m, and not the diesel m50d thing

I've seen those wheels on some older vws and even a Vauxhall of some description. All looked 'ok'
On a standard height modern(ish) Passat they look dog turd.
They need machining so the bolts sit deeper inside the wheels and some of the bulk around the centre cap shaving off, but if you're going to that much effort just buy some different wheels!
