Teh Spotted Thread
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Top pensioners money saving trick, but I assume we all go for a big poo before trying to set personal best times? (Can save half a kilo sometimes).
Re: Teh Spotted Thread

I just missed Anne but got a shot of her car in Upton-upon-Severn the other weekend.
There was also a flypast by a Lancaster.

Lancaster
I've seen a few things, with no camera have forgotten most, but I remembered the reg to this so found a pic;
As much as I like the car, that it was on the inside lane of the M25 with nobody daring to be near it made it all the better I saw some other Americans going the other way, confusingly.
Somewhere Newport Pagnell-ish (it was closed and it rained ), what I think was one of these trundled past me (I couldn't make out the US style plate which I think was red on white);

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1971- ... per-bee-4/
Different day, different place, two Corvettes, a '70s and a new one. Not too sure on the new one, I don't think red helped it though, it didn't click at a glance it's a Corvette. First one I've seen though, hopefully there'll be a few more about in different colours that work better.
Two cabrio spots a couple of minutes apart, both black, both with the roof down, both desirable...first was a Smart Roadster, second a Bentley Azure
Spooky coincidence spot goes to a Dodge van/bus of the type in the Today's Want thread; I hadn't seen one irl before, post one from t'internet, then one drives past not a million miles from home.

This was definitely a runner - I did wonder if it was one of the old boys' in the background.integrale_evo wrote: ↑Tue Aug 02, 2022 3:21 amAwesome I’ve still never seen a complete running one in real life, probably more rare than the ‘sud.Swervin_Mervin wrote: ↑Mon Aug 01, 2022 5:52 pm One for @integrale_evo

Looks amazingly solid, just a bit of gentle patina. Shame it looks like someone has stood or sat on the bonnet

Yeah I didn't spot that until looking at the photos. Tbf it looked in better nick than most of the modern stuff, some of which was in a shocking state (I have no idea if Spain has anything equivalent to the MOT, nor if so whether it's strictly adhered to...). It's all the more amazing given it lives on the windy Atlantic side of the region's coast (we were about 45mins south of Cadiz).integrale_evo wrote: ↑Tue Aug 02, 2022 11:34 am Looks amazingly solid, just a bit of gentle patina. Quite sure there is something like it. Sreten on M539 mentioned it in one of the Project Marbella episodes I think.Swervin_Mervin wrote: ↑Tue Aug 02, 2022 11:54 amYeah I didn't spot that until looking at the photos.
