Re: Teh Spotted Thread
But the reg does come up as being for sale. Curious.
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Does come up on Askmid as insured. I assume the DVLA are being very slow to update by post, since my car showed up next day on the databases when I put the plate on it a few weeks ago.integrale_evo wrote: ↑Fri Sep 17, 2021 2:59 pm Reg doesn’t come up with anything on carcheck or the not site

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
A PH-er has suggested it's just as possibly been re-badged. He gets into the vagaries of ///M and ///Mxxxi badging. Apparently as it has the proper M (M88) engine in the M635csi, some owners rebadge it as an M6. Unlike the E12/28 M535i which doesn't have an M engine.Swervin_Mervin wrote: ↑Fri Sep 17, 2021 11:19 amSo I thought also, but not entirely true. In the US and Japan it was badged as M6 and had the S38 engine as opposed to the M88. 30bhp down on the M88 engined M635 as ewll
Giving the old boy the benefit of the doubt, one assumes that the above is therefore a Jap import.
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Many E-Types, older Astons, Bentleys, etc etc, all over the place really. Not sure if something on (one group were from abroad, didn't see the 'plates clearly enough to see which country) or just everyone making use of the good weather.
Probably the rarest spot of the day was this (parked on the road not on display);
If the Westminster wasn't the rarest spot then this was, a rhd 02 Baur Cabriolet. I'm not sure if it was this exact car (didn't get the reg, saw it in the dark then in a tunnel) but it was a very similar colour, rhd, later tail lights...there can't be many;

Astra GTE 16v just off Staxton roundabout yesterday, made a lovely noise, thought it would have been quicker though, looked very cool and it was tiny!

Neither of us.
Scott was busy winning races at Knockhill, and I was showing mik jr how to get the front hub off (his car) for a wheel bearing change. Will let the garage press the new bearing in. Every single nut and hi a bolt was a rusty absolute arsehole….

RR Phantom & Ghost in convoy, both white, with matching reg “V1 YAH” & “V11 YAH”.
Although DVLA says one is silver and the other is black… so presumably wrapped to cover up the evidence…

Just spent a few days in Edinburgh, many new long wheel base Defenders all with silly box on the side. Nothing else noteworthy.

Wonder if there’s a Peugeot that uses the same windscreen and bought from a breakers

Harry Metcalfe in V8 FNE (think it was on a Roma) near Burford.

Getting racy at the caravan club. I think they were lost and needed somewhere to turn around.

Forgot to mention the E90 M3 I saw. Black with oxblood (I think that's the colour, dark red) interior. What made it stand out what the bead seat cover the owner has fitted in best knackered 90s mini cab style.

Saw a F8 Tributo in town yesterday. Looked good in that blue that the one everyone reviewed was painted. Didn't really do anything for me though, not sure if it was the car or just that I don't really care about top trumps supercars anymore.
An absolute unit

Spotted our very own @Jobbo smashing up the M6 this morning in the Allroad.
I'd have waved, but he was going too fast.
