It’s a GT R PRO - comparable to a RS vs the GT R being the GT3. 7min04s around the ‘Ring isn’t bad though.. :geek:

MURICA

If the stickers are true it would be the 700 bhp supercharged V8. It has a really weird chassis reinforcement thing underneath though which I have never seen before and it negates all off road usefulness. Odd.

Found it, must be a 2017 model chassis brace. I imagine the 2016 ones ended up bending the chassis

Looks like it might be a control arm for the rear suspension?

From what could google it runs independent suspension with wishbones at the front but still has a solid axle at the back?

Yes, a linkage to stop the axel twisting up the springs under acceleration.

Close, but not quite. It’s the gear oil that stops it all locking solid, the friction is from the cones of the synchros / baulk rings / bearings in the gears etc. You could grab that wheel and it’d stop easily.

I love Raptors but those wheels are too small and look like fake bead lock which is just wrong!

It’s not a Raptor but the wheels on it are similar to the previous gen Raptor which did have fake beadlocks as an option so these may be the same. I think it’s on 17” wheels like the Raptor too but they all look like they’re on castors. The Shelby has a lift kit so could have fitted bigger wheels with the same chunky sidewall.
We could only go to 20” and keep the same overall tyre diameter as the lift kit necessary isn’t worth the handling trade off

That's what I had it down as aye.

I don't know why but when I was watching it I was sure it was a Plymouth of some sort

The Charger shared a platform with the Plymouth Satellite/Road Runner. The styling was more similar for that mid seventies one than previous ones as well.

Mystery solved by complete chance. It’s definitely a 3rd gen Charger.

Did a neck crunching double take on spotting the most comically oversized BMW kidney grill in a carpark today.

Sadly I think it was standard new 7er.

WTF were they thinking?!
