Saw my first one the other day and it wasn’t as pretty as I was expecting it to be in the metal.

I’ve a sneaking suspicion that once all the initial hype has died down, these won’t be held in as high regard as the initial reviews suggest, or at least until the RenaultSport version is released.

This car got so much right (weight, look, performance, how it drives) but also so much wrong (no manual, LSD, packaging).

Another ‘nearly’ car.

And who designed the cup holder? The 15yo me doing GCSE D&T course could have done a better job. No, actually any intelligent 6yo could have done a better job!

Plus the group test in Car had the electrics die on the one they were testing. Flame throwing appears not to be the only magic trick baked into the design.

Mauro is a stunt driver and he's done work for Autocar in the past. He's pretty handy behind the wheel.

But what oranges! Absolutely love it, the costs involved in getting a 550 to 99k miles must be absolutely astonishing, but that is just epic in every way. And a lot less than I thought they were worth (because mileage probably).
