A110

Post by mik »

Prices announced. I'm still not interested due to 4-shenanigans and autobox, but otherwise - lots to like.

Anyone in for one?

I’ll take the flame grilled chicken Legende. Sorry, what? This isn’t the McDonalds drive thru? My mistake.

But no. I don’t want a 50k Renault thank you very much.

Not yet...but...wife has just given clearance to the idea.

Will certainly be keeping an eye on used prices and ownership experiences over the next 12mo or so. 8-)

Please can anyone tell me why you’d buy one of these new instead of a year old Exige 350?

You’d have to be put your shirt on backwards mental to IMO.

Clearly I don’t understand anything anymore.

Really like these with only two minor gripes, no manual choice and likely saving the megane RS's higher power output for a more expensive option.

There's only one thing that would put me off owning one - having to rely on the Renault dealership network. They're fvcking useless. Easily the worst part of my 197 ownership experience.

According to SMMT Alpine started selling cars again in July 8-) and moved on...... 11 cars :?

Might have only been part-month operating of course, but that is rather less than I was expecting. :|

Very interesting site that. So far in 2018 Loltus have sold a pretty dysmal 145 cars in the UK. Compared to 458 McLarens (not the same market necessarily, but interesting) and a whopping 9632 Porsches. :!:

The first batch of customer cars arrived in the UK on 25th July and the first ones were handed over to customers on the 27th.

Cool website. But it’s all rather depressing in terms of the crap that people buy
How about not having a sig at all?

Problem with the A110 is like the 4C - everyone is hoping/waiting that they will depreciate by 50% in a year and buy one used so hardly anyone will buy them in the first place!

I thought Lotus are doing a lot better than that. Obviously not.

Unfortunately not. Struggling.

I am not sure pushing the prices upwards has worked for them either.... :? although its awesome for keeping residuals strong on the slightly older cars. :)

OK - as I thought. Although an initial excited group of 11 is still pretty poor.

I saw Ian Litchfield took a car - interesting to see what he comes up with.
