The first ones are a limited production run of 1955 globally, the Premiere Edition, so it’s unsurprising that the deliveries are also limited They sold out.mik wrote: ↑Sun Aug 19, 2018 10:13 pmOK - as I thought. Although an initial excited group of 11 is still pretty poor.NotoriousREV wrote: ↑Sun Aug 19, 2018 7:23 pm The first batch of customer cars arrived in the UK on 25th July and the first ones were handed over to customers on the 27th.
I saw Ian Litchfield took a car - interesting to see what he comes up with.

The only reason I know this stuff is because I’m Facebook friends with the UK Brand Ambassador for Alpine (he’s also the Nissan GTR Brand Ambassador). No, I don’t know what a Brand Ambassador does, either.

He’s very well known in GTR circles so it probably stemmed from that. It’s a proper job rather than just Instagramming shit. He organises events and stuff, as far as I can tell.

I wonder what Ferrari sold (to compare to McLaren)mik wrote: ↑Sun Aug 19, 2018 6:10 pm According to SMMT Alpine started selling cars again in July and moved on...... 11 cars
Might have only been part-month operating of course, but that is rather less than I was expecting.
Very interesting site that. So far in 2018 Loltus have sold a pretty dysmal 145 cars in the UK. Compared to 458 McLarens (not the same market necessarily, but interesting) and a whopping 9632 Porsches.

Actually seen in the main shopping mall in Dubai - a red button on the wall (beside some lifts) stating "do not press button". I have a pic somewhere.....
