Southern Meet?
Southern Meet?
Come on guys, it's been years. There's plenty of us daan saarf and it's only a few hours to catch up. Jobbo used to do a magnificent job of planning a route, could be one of the old Wantage area ones perhaps?
I'm going to throw 21or 22 July in the ring as the wife is away, but diary doesn't look too bad post World Cup (yes, yes, kickball etc. don't care, it's brilliant) at the moment.

21 or 22 July works for me.
As long as you don't really mean SW. That's miles away.

Re: SW Meet?
This is clearly regionalist and I'm offended.
Re: SW Meet?
I might well be available that weekend.
Choosing a route is much harder these days, traffic is so much worse. But let’s aim for somewhere like Wantage/Newbury to meet up and heading a bit west towards Avebury.

Re: SW Meet?
Sorry, as far as my compass is concerned London is in the middle of the south.
Sounds fine with me Jobbo!

Sounds good guys.
A Sunday morning would probably be best for me if that works for others.

Sunday 22nd works for me.
Jon? Sundayjumper? YK?
Who else is within striking distance?
Edit - Morning is ok too GG although lunch is as important as driving on these meets!

I’d be up for this although it may depend upon what I end up driving and timing around a replacement. Now starting the process of rejecting the Panamera.

If it's around Newbury/Wantage I may be up for this. That's the old stomping ground, but only 75 minutes away from home now on a Sunday morning.

Re: Southern Meet?
22nd Sunday from am through lunch sounds best for me. If it's a Saturday I'd have to bring the kids, and whilst that would be fun they might get a bit ill as those are bumpy roads and I don't want them throwing up in the car!

Re: Southern Meet?
Will it involve very cheap hot-dogs ?
Re: Southern Meet?
Ah by Southern meet you mean Midlands meet? Would be tempted, but Wantage is >100miles / 2hrs North of me.
Re: Southern Meet?
Prefect, more time in the car.

Make sure it has sticky front tyres so you don't understeer into the kerb again!ShockDiamonds wrote: ↑Fri May 18, 2018 7:11 am I’d be up for this although it may depend upon what I end up driving and timing around a replacement.

I'm in Reading so not a million miles away - would be nice to give the S6 a proper run now it's got new tyres on, that's if you don't mind a newcomer crashing the partySimon wrote: ↑Fri May 18, 2018 8:52 amMore info in the fleet running reports thread please!ShockDiamonds wrote: ↑Fri May 18, 2018 7:11 am I’d be up for this although it may depend upon what I end up driving and timing around a replacement.
