It’s not the power, it’s all about torque. My Touareg was 309bhp and the Cayenne is 380bhp but the Touareg was way nicer to tow with.
465lb/ft available from 1500 rpm. Its very torquey!
I knew it would be considerably more than my L200. 2 cyls, 500cc and an extra turbo over mine.

I'd take the Cayenne figures too now i've looked them up (never mind a V10 derv Touareg) as that's putting out 70lb/ft over mine even when it's mapped!

The 1980s called and want their AS400 back. The last time I used an ERP system that out of date it was at Lear Corporation who make seats for JLR in 2013 and I referred to it as an antique at the time.

Nice 8-)

My local dealer on the original order as well - they're a decent bunch (well apart from alignment but you can't have it all)

I thought BMW had reverted to Teletext.

Nice car, Scott. For a BMW ;)

That’s exactly the sort of X5 I’d choose, were I buying one. Lovely spec, so much better as an SE with options than an MSport.

Would have liked the adaptive suspension but the rest of the spec more than makes up for it. The HK sound system would have been nice as well but the standard system is much better than the 3 series one. It really suits the imperial blue with the anthracite 20’s and the exterior styling kit.

Our ML tows lovely with a heavy trailer so the 4x4 tow vehicle choice is a very good one.

Lovely spec interior, very plush.

Yes - it also does tow zoom on the screen also that directs to the hitch. To be tested!

Ste said that it also changes the guidance lines on the screen to show the trajectory of the trailer.

Interesting. That could be very handy.

ste wrote: Sat Dec 01, 2018 12:23 pm My e70 would do the things above including changing the air suspension to towing specific settings. Best though IMO was the reverse cam would account for the trailer and draw its reversing arcs taking the trailer into account...

Impressive figures for a diesel. I see the new Ranger Raptor only manages 284bhp and 362torques from a supercharged 3l petrol.

It’s lost over 100bhp crossing the pond then
How about not having a sig at all?

Would genuinely prefer a standard diesel one

Pickup in for Saturday morning. Quite looking forward to it. Which feels strange as it’s not my usual sports coupe / hot hatch.
