🤔 They just look too big at first glance. Not looked too closely. That's my initial impression.
The black one in Harry M's IG live has much smaller wheels - I think that's why it doesn't look as good (though I'm all for smaller wheels from a driving POV)
Nope, they're the same size wheels, its just sitting much higher than the blue one.

I think it looks fantastic, i'd probably have the 4 pot DCT version.

I agree with Dan. Genuinely tempting, though I didn't buy an Alpine A110 which I also loved so I doubt I'll ever get one.

Yeah, it’s just visual trickery with the diamond cut wheels and ride height on the blue one, much prefer the all silver wheels on the black one.

I think it looks great.

Love it.

I configured one without the black pack and with simpler wheels on the Lotus site and it looks great.

4 banger with paddles for me please.

Quite a few deposits placed according to the seloc thread on it. Cub Racer version would be epic - stripped out with the 414 BHP AMG engine.

Anyone know how wide it is over the door mirrors? (I'm always ambitious on judging viable gaps to go for!).

Been tempted with the A110 for a while but just didn't quite click. This however seems spot on (friend has placed his deposit for a yellow one with black pack, AMG with manual. But I'm thinking Green with Tan Leather, yellow callipers, no black pack, AMG with manual).

AMG & Manuel isn't an option.

It will initially launch as a limited-edition First Edition model that uses the brand's Toyota-sourced supercharged 3.5-liter V6 engine, the same unit found in the Evora GT, and it'll be offered with either a 6-speed automatic or a 6-speed manual. In summer 2022 the Emira will gain a second engine option: a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4 sourced from Mercedes-AMG. This motor is the same one used by cars like the CLA45, but Lotus has given it a new air intake and exhaust system and mounted it transversely. The turbo four engine will only be offered with AMG's 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

"Key dimensions of the Emira are length 4,412mm; width 1,895mm; height 1,225mm; and wheelbase 2,575mm"

I have to assume that width is to the outer door mirrors.

Was going to say, thought the AMG variant only came with their DCT box.

Also, just seen this video in my recommended, Jensen Button driving it

2 seater only but with a little space behind the seats foe storage. (Not like an Evora though)

What are the dimensions of the V6 and i4? As you said Mik, they are pretty close power wise and the AMG can go higher than the V6 (A45S), so I’d think it foolish if they’ve had to increase the engine bay size for an engine that won’t last long. 🥴

If they're going to keep it for aeons like Lotus usually do they'll probably end up having to shoehorn a hybrid lump in there eventually.

Surprising result.

I am not sure this will reflect the people willing to actually place hand in pocket….
