Yeah I know it's a whole new design etc, but I thought I read that the 204 was based on the 203 floorpan. Just trying to find the references again.

OK this must have been the source of my confusion. I can't find any reference to the 2 floorpans being common.

I find there’s something a little bit stormtrooper-ish about the front styling

Agree, this looks more of LCI, normally a new Mercdes makes its pedesor looks very dated overnight.

Those photos look very similar to my neighbours cls, he owned the old model until just before xmas. The newer version has no where near as much presence as the older genration.
