For Sells Lotus Elise S1

Post by scotta »

So I seem to have accidentally bought another car which takes the household total to 4....

So with sadness the S1 has to go..

Ill do a proper advert with some proper photo's at the weekend but for a starter..

1999 S1 Elise in new Aluminium silver

Miles - 91610

Massive history folder dating back to the early 2000's.

Ive owned the car for almost 5 years and its been maintained and serviced by myself for the routine items and Craig Moncreiff Cars for larger items.

The car has always in my ownership been run on Fuchs Titan Pro Race S oil and has been changed every 6 months on average. The car was serviced early 2020 but due to covid has had very little use this year. However i can give the car a full service if required.

It will be going to CMC for an MOT this week so will be sold with a full MOT.

The car has a lot of spec of which im sure ive missed some off the list.

Those Forged wheels are a £1200 factory option. Its a Club Racer SC Comfort one of only 7 made according to how many left.

Noooo! But also yes! 8-)

That's a very fair (or indeed dare I say it cheap) price Scott with all the nice bits you've got on it. Someone on the forum should buy that. The prices on the S1 seem to be on the up, so it'll end up being very cheap fun for someone.

Spotted the CR the other day whilst window shopping. Love the colour and the colour coded interior/ seats.

Cripes, on both counts. The S1 seems a very good deal at that money 8-)

To me the CR seems really good value too - I know it's a lot of money, but it's a much newer car and they hold their money so well. Good that you got a modern colour too!

Love the Club Racer - I remember when they came out thinking that one of those on the forged wheels would be my ideal S3 Elise.

Found the original sales brochure for the CR. They’ve used a Daytona blue car in the photos. 8-)

You already know my thoughts, but those seats are a particular highlight for me, and 217bhp with less than 900kg sounds pretty tasty. 8-)

They pitch the figures at 0-60 in 4.2. so half a second quicker than the M240i with a manual box vs the ZF and launch control. Should be brisk.

That blue is very correct 8-)

I always wanted an S2 SC ever since they were released; it seemed like a pretty perfect and useable power to weight. Enjoy.

The more I look, the more that spec appeals - particularly in the right colour (I also love the pale blue). They're never going to lose massive money from there either.
