Re: ECOTY
Is that the Nomad R? Cool as it is, I would prefer if they included the std Atom 4.
Cayman GT4 has got to be up there. And is that a special M2 - 'Competition' or something?

Re: ECOTY
M2 competition is just what they seem to call the updated version, you can’t buy a ‘normal’ m2 any more, they’re all competitions.

Re: ECOTY
My subscriber copy only arrived today - also received (to the office) a signed document posted first class on Friday. Postal service creaking a bit then...
Excellent article anyway. 7th and 8th places a bit of a surprise, and nice to see a range of opinions on the Yaris GR rather than fawning on Youtube.

Re: ECOTY
I read this yesterday. It is indeed an excellent article, close to being back to the old school in terms of sense of adventure and also diversity of cars and attributes. Surprise winner too. Highly recommended for all those who’ve cancelled their subscription

Re: ECOTY
Surprise winner - it seemed like they had hardly mentioned it during the main article (except for the fat steering wheel).
Re: ECOTY
Bought this the other day, glad I did, back to its best. They actually got together the main contenders and the best testers in the business, unlike the last ECOTY I bought. Long may it continue!
Spoiler
I was hoping the Yaris was going to win, but I expecting the LT to win. Still, a very worthy winner, amazing to think that's BMWs first win.

Re: ECOTY
Enjoyed it too, good article.
Spoiler
also liked that the winner is sub six figures. I know it is all about the driving, but as the winners tend to be so far outside the realms of normal people's financial scope, this felt reasonable. Not that I could afford an 80k car, but feels less unattainable.
