Whatever is next I'll be looking to reduce the monthly tax bill of 50 quid.

Aside from the V10 novelty, they're pretty crap.
Not even a novelty, I've already got a V10 sat outside !

It's huge and OTT and a bit different to the other obvious choices when you need space & towing ability.
I’ve I wanted something silly and American for towing duties I’d be getting a Dodge Ram. Either V10 or Cummins diesel.

Pickups always seem to me to be a lot less practical, unless you need to carry pallets of bricks regularly. Estate or SUV the dogs can go in the boot no problem. Pickup; no.

That’s true, I like a pick up but I don’t have kids or dogs.

I'm not sure I want a "good" pick up - I want a crappy single cab one! 😂

two slow cars... I wouldn't need a yeti either, yep bikes would easily fit in a GT86 - they fitted in my M3 no problem.

Just getting some 6 point harnesses on the Fabia at the moment, rather than the current 4 points. Just to make the fit a bit better as they rise up a bit. And maybe new seats might be needed in that case. Probably unnecessary given what I use the car for, but nice to have.

Car-wise, a GR Yaris would be nice but unjustifiable. Having just got the Swift I’ve stopped thinking about new cars for a bit. Really no idea what I’d want next. I was looking at W124s but the prices are all over the place and I didn’t get as far as working out what variant I’d actually want.
Left over crest; tightens.

might be a little out of my budget! Though how did they put a tow bar on - isn't the exhaust in the way?!

Currently have the A5 and 987S. Fancy going to one car for a while and as I'm not doing much mileage it opens up a number of options..

I'd like to tick the 911 box at some point so a 997S is up there. An Exige V6 is never far from my mind but i'd realistically need a second car to go with it so could keep the A5. I live in a flat and the cars are parked in the secure underground carpark but I'd want to put an Exige in a garage, so that might have to wait (looking to move next year). I've not driven an M4 but that would be an option.

The 2030 announcement is food for thought.. Start getting on the EV bandwagon now or have a good few years of bucket list purchasing?

Is that because of what Chris Harris said ??! ;)
Funny that - I watched that video and said to myself exactly that be fore he did.
I got a brand new one in Jan 1999 as my first new company car and it was bloody awesome. A revelation in comparison to its peers at the time. I had a demo for a week late in 98 and I just couldn't believe how well it drove compared to anything else we had on the fleet or in as demo's.

It just 4 wheel drifted everywhere. IIRC I did 9 sets of fronts and 5 sets of rear tyres in 18mths and 72k. I had an absolute hoot in it and it held the record for the highest running costs on the fleet 😂

I’ve a few trips to do in the 500e once it’s all finished and then it will be sold to buy an early 996. Hopefully get the PTW higher than a GT3 and make it a cross country machine.

Covers 4wd, and you mentioned MX-5s :? Don't get a Yeti then, turbot an '86 instead (+ arches).

It always was the intention but values are getting a bit silly and I’m a bit worried about future freedoms car wise. I love king drives at speed so don’t want to miss out.

I’m going to find it a struggle to sell but think I want a car I do t care about so much and just enjoy the driving part.

There is a dark green one I’ve seen about and it looks stunning, Alfa’s of the last 10 years always look fantastic in the right spec.
