Sounds like you were TRAVELING AT DANGEROUS SPEEDS and PUTTING YOUR PREGNANT WIFE AT RISK

Think your Elise must be down on power too, as I could keep up with it in my Golf 🤣
That elise was quite compared to a certain pink mini at Knockhill, except it seemed to be really slow in the corners and was holding me up, maybe the classic loltus handling isn't what the internetz says it is ;)
So my Elise wasnt as quick as your borrowed stripped and caged race car on stickier rubber round corners no? aw well.

Has your exige got a working engine yet?
 it had about 105bhp i will have you know!

and no

For me it'd be an S1 Exige. It cornered like a house fly! Or a Caterham Superlight. Awesome stuff!

Most 'exotic' thing I've driven is only a first gen Audi R8 so I need to pull my finger out.

For sheer awesomeness probably the McLaren MP4-12C. I'll sadly never be able to afford one, so I'll also mention the Mk1 Elise 111S that my ex-brother-in-law had. Simply amazing to drive.
If you get all wobbly-lipped about the opinion of Internet strangers, maybe it's time to take a bath with the toaster as you'll never amount to sh1t anyway.

A short drive in a 458 at a Sixth gear day was enough to leave me utterly smitten. 996.2 & 997.2 GT3s also completely spectacular, with the 996.2 just edging to for me.

Inevitable bias, but I still love the intensity of mine. Cue Crocodile Dan-dee with “that’s not a Lotus, THIS is a Lotus” in 5...4...3...

Probably an Evora GT430 which I borrowed recently. Taken aback by the pace and stability of it. I shouldn't have been looking back at the spec sheet (and price!) but it's completely different to the first Evora and the Elise derivatives.

The best car i've driven has to be this 300hp elise, although i'd rather have a V6 as a road car :P

I've only driven that particular one very slowly, but I can imagine I'd quite like it when going faster too. My 'best' is probably my HPE Elise which I imagine I'd like more than that blue one in some ways, but wouldn't have minded the engine from that one at all in mine...

I also reeeeeealy want a V6 for the road now.

I could see the first of the two images earlier - Panamera, 911R and 918.

Now I can’t see either of them.

That 918 is sensational. Pebble smooth yet supremely aggressive.

8-)

Would love to hear more about it.

Yes that. Mudges exhaust videos are doing nothing to lessen the want.
