New BMW M4 Competition
New BMW M4 Competition
I thought there would have been a thread on this already but apparently not.
M4 has 473 bhp, with the Competition one at 503bhp... sStarting price of 76K for the Competition one.
Can we start with the front grille? I mean, we shouldn't be surprised, but they've outdone themselves this time.
Of course there's a Jobbo interior option to go with that gob.
Fancy a titanium exhaust that makes the back end as ugly as the front? They've thought of that too.
I mean, its a challenging sell all round.

'salright with the front number plate imo.
Seats are interesting.
Interior colour will keep the kid awake in the back.
The exhaust and all the side/rear body addenda with the gaps to the body

Left over crest; tightens.

Let's just say it'd better be a great drive!

I really don’t like any of it at all, and the launch colours really aren’t helping either. Maybe it’s a distraction technique so people don’t notice how shite they look?

Re: New BMW M4 Competition
How long before people start custom making number plates with a colour coded extension on each end to split the grilles?
Cheers, Harry
Re: New BMW M4 Competition
And the carbon fuel cap.
I know previous special M3’s have been pricey too, but a starting price of close-to £80k made me wince
Re: New BMW M4 Competition
I don 't hate that grill as much now. So the UK will only get the Competition, apparently you can't order a standard M4/3 unless I heard incorrectly. That M-Performance exhaust can fuck off.

Ahhhh, I obviously missed it, but knew it would be here somewhere.

The seats, in a normal colour would be awesome. Even have a carbon fibre crumb catcher for eating when driving.
Re: New BMW M4 Competition
The grille will look worse in the US without a front plate.
Those seats - how many different textures?! They didn’t need to be blue, yellow and black but why have what appears to be leather and suede and a technical woven fabric all there as well? Plus carbon fibre backs but nasty plastic sides to the base

Re: New BMW M4 Competition
You can't believe people at BMW signed off on it. The grill is terrible and that exhaust is a joke. Nevermind all the stick on CF tat.
Re: New BMW M4 Competition
i'm ok with the interior - do it all black and it'll look nice having different textures, but the nose is just bizarre.Jobbo wrote: ↑Fri Sep 25, 2020 5:07 pm The grille will look worse in the US without a front plate.

Re: New BMW M4 Competition
The grille looks crap, the pinched in front lights off the ugly old 1 series looks crap, the random lines and angles on the front bumper look crap, the rear bumper prolapsing a stick on non aerodynamic diffuser looks crap and most of the m performance add-one are tacky in the extreme. Carbon petrol caps, minute canard moustaches, 90s max power sideskirt wings?? Just because they’re carbon fibre and expensive doesn’t make them good!
Cheers, Harry
Re: New BMW M4 Competition
It is lardy isn’t it. Just watching the 24 hours earlier and curiously there’s still loads of M6s going round but no M8s despite being a few years old now. Probably too big isn’t it?
How about not having a sig at all?

Re: New BMW M4 Competition
Weight doesn’t bother me that much, it’s as big as, more powerful than and better equipped than an e39 m5 was yet weighs less.
An e36 m3 was 1550kg, e46 m3 1600+ kg
Wonder how much the 4wd xdrive version is going to be though
