New car
Mildly frustrated that I cannot drive it (ruptured my Achilles Tendon a few weeks ago) but nevertheless happy that the JCW is here. Colour is Starlight Blue and really pops in the sun; there’s a little purple in it. First car I’ve had where I’ve been specifically advised on bedding in the stereo. The HK speakers need a few hours for the cones to soften apparently. Exhaust burble, lovely

Salesman was then picked up in a Countryman. Blimey those things are chunky.
Re: New car
Looks great, fab colour. Hope it drives well when you are able.
Re: New car
Nice in that blue. It’s the sort of colour I could never have but glad other people do.

Re: New car
Only thing I’m not sure about is the chrome belt line. Seen other people referring to it but now it’s here in the metal I do wonder whether dechroming that is the way to go.

Re: New car
two, I’ve not got HUD (the new digital pod renders it pointless plus I’m not convinced by the Mini’s solution) and I’ve not ordered the heated screen either.
Re: New car
So this is the outgoing model is it? Having watched Catchpole's vid on the new one, this one is the one to have.

Re: New car
Needs lowered.
I like the colour, but you’re right, the chrome belt looks a bit odd when there’s no other chrome trim anywhere on the exterior.

Re: New car
I like it, think the chrome complements the brighter bits such as the handles, lights and wheels.
How about not having a sig at all?

Not watched that GP review as yet. I think the JCW is due a refresh at some point but mine already has some spec upgrades over earlier models. I know the GP is a little manic though and I could never live with it.

They're surprisingly small inside too. I hated the seats, especially in the back. It's like being sat on a particularly uncomfortable dining chair.ShockDiamonds wrote: ↑Wed Sep 02, 2020 12:24 pm Salesman was then picked up in a Countryman. Blimey those things are chunky.

Nice car! I’ve had three Minis now and they’ve all been fabulous fun. That colour is spot-on too, nice one!
Cheers,
Mike.

Yes the thing is mini size is a bit like a golf now. Our r55 with 220 ish bhp is quite fast enough and fun.
How much is one on these with options? High 20s?
