Excellent. Gratuitously endowed old petrol engines ftw.

Nice wafter. Didn't fancy swallowing some brave pills and finding an XJ-R of similar vintage?
If you get all wobbly-lipped about the opinion of Internet strangers, maybe it's time to take a bath with the toaster as you'll never amount to sh1t anyway.

Does it have Complex Valve Newtonic Timing?Jimmy Choo wrote: ↑Tue Sep 01, 2020 8:30 amMmm. Whafty.
As to the engine, I believe it's derived from the duratec. It's got very complicated valve timing (VCVT) but not the ST220 variable length intake jobbie (VLIJ). It's has CATS but no DAGS.

Oh, and bonus waft points if it’s badged as a Daimler Sovereign not a Jag XJ.

Nah, everyone knows the gopping s type front end.
Must admit, I thought it was an x type from the first pic.

I think the XJ jags suit the inline six better.

Much. Was reading about someone else getting one of those over on B/S. Looks lovely and definitely on my want list.

Yep, it does look weirdly small in that pic.integrale_evo wrote: ↑Tue Sep 01, 2020 10:22 am Nah, everyone knows the gopping s type front end.

If JL was still about he would be able to correctly interpret the plate as “BJs (h)e give”.

An XJR would have to be an x300 and I wanted an X350. Also, all the ones in my price range were knackered. This one isn't.

I had the same thing, mostly because I didn’t know they put the V6 in the XJintegrale_evo wrote: ↑Tue Sep 01, 2020 10:22 am Nah, everyone knows the gopping s type front end.
