Come on, tell us all about it, even if it isn't an 800kg track car 😆

Am I right in saying that racers are allowed motorhomes, but no caravans are allowed in the paddock? Never really understood that. :?

Plenty caravans at race events, motorhomes more popular as they tow with them.

Been looking for a race van/truck for a while and narrowed it down to a LWB sprinter/Crafter after having brief thoughts about 7.5t trucks with tail lifts etc.

The weekend before last was spent watching various YouTube tutorials about people and companies converting them but I quickly realised I don’t have the time to do a decent job.

Looking at the usual places and I thought 25k was required to get a decent van but snagged this one for way less.
Brand new conversion, 4 berth, heating, solar, leisure batteries, toilet, boiler, tv, big garage- the guy just built it to Trackday Bikes and go to BSB events.

His business has been impacted with covid and he needed the funds..

There’s some stuff I need to tweak, lower the main bed as i don’t need the height to take a bike, mountain bikes yes and tools and tyres etc.

It’s booked on for a towbar and a remap, immediately, plus a few other tweaks.

How much was it?

I’ll still tempted with outing the van and trailer and going for a tail lift truck.

That looks great !

Solar dc to dc chargers and electrical circuits can be fun!!

Nice one Foz. I have a regular perusal through vans and campers for stuff like this, can't decide if I want the hassle of owning a big van though

They make good campers those, couple of the lads at racing have them. One is just a camper the other has a high bed with load carrying under it where his mowers go.

The build that the single track sampler did on YouTube was enough to put me off doing my own but it was impressive with what you can do in a limited space.

Here’s the eBay ad, managed to get it a bit less, I spent the night removing all the dubious stickers.

I am going to lower the bed sort a few other niggles/ make the garage finish nicer with something more durable and aesthetically pleasing :)

Thanks to mike for giving it an eyeball 👍🏼

Cool. 8-)

Careful with the Fiamma awning - they are very good but can be fragile where the legs fold - don't try and wrestle it away in a windy environment.
