You must choose only one

Post by mik »

Your imaginary wealthy Uncle Cyclops - from his death bed - offers to bequeath you one of the cars below from his collection. This offer is made on the understanding that you may never sell it - only pass it onto someone else with the same restriction - so the value is immaterial.

For the purpose of this vote, let’s pretend you are all men(/ladies) of your word ok? ;)

Carrera GT, amazing engine, noise, would be great fun to try and master etc. Plus very analogue.

Yep CGT for me, the 959 would be too old and clunky, the GT1 wouldn’t be very fun on the road, the 918 just isn’t as cool as the CGT.
How about not having a sig at all?

918 was 2013

Either that or the CGT for me.

I like the GT1, and a rare beast indeed, but CGT is bound to be a better proposition on the road and also because V10, CGT wins.

918 or CGT, but as it’s one - CGT.

I love the 959 as it reminds me of the brilliant 1980s and a business that I used to visit with a 959 a Testarossa and a Manta 400 in the car park. But after saying that it has to be the the Carrera GT for me, just for the noise.

918 for me, CGT is lovely but the modern car just gets the nod from me.

918 please, it fixed all the bits that looked a bit weird on the cgt. Although I'm not a fan of the top exit exhausts.

Might have taken the gt1 if it was the earlier one which borrowed 993 bits, the extra swoopy 996 donor one always looked a bit weird in road trim.

918 for me. It makes the rest look so pre-historic.

Wow - I didn’t want to pre-empt it, but I was certain the poll would end with no scores on the doors for the GT1 😬

Bet it's not, the central tub is based on the same one from the 60s they were using for the 911 at the time.

I'd imagine it looks tiny compared to any of the others on the list!
