Nice. There's a 13 plate one of these near me that looks identical. I think I prefer the hatchback CLS (a 55K/63 would be nice) but sure it'll be a nice place in which to travel.

I absolutely hated the CLS when I first saw one. Then, I remember looking at one on a roundabout on the A46 one day and completely changing my opinion in one moment. Weird.

The shooting brake has never looked wrong. Great looking car.

I should probably have waited a week - I bet they'll be under £10k in a few days

Big fan, I toyed with one but there were few about at the time and quite pricey.

I like my superb a lot but I should have waited :)

It might be a 4 seater but a car that size could never be a 2 + 2! That's means cars that have the token rear seats that are neither use not ornament!

2+2 in my books is a car with two separate seats in the front and two separate ones in the back.

Like a 911, e30m3, merc clk, or merc cls ( non wagon)

2+2 means two full size seats plus two which are compromised and therefore should be considered as occasional use. Job no’s has to be a 4 seater Shirley.

Therefore the only correct answer is a Ford Galaxy that can carry 7.

Nobody needs to carry that many people. That's just madness!

We are a family of four, occasionally it is nice to be able to take an extra person, i.e. The mother in law, one of the children's friends etc.

I'd rather take two cars everywhere than give up on life and buy a people carrier, but being able to occasionally seat an extra person which has plenty of room to do so, just that the manufacturer has decided to only put two belts in the back is annoying.

We have two genuine 2+2s and are a family of 4 and we really don’t consider it to be much of an issue.

If you have a car with back doors, it’s quite useful for passengers to be able to slide along and get out the other side. A centre console in the rear is a bit silly in any car; it’s not like it needs to house a gear lever or controls.

Mind you, this is my first column shift so the only control on the front centre console is the COMAND rotary controller 😄
