The V8 MINI

tl;dr - Powerflex owner gets an S65 dropped into a MINI. And happens to have a Citroen DS, SM, and an Alfa SZ. 8-)

5 pages now.

Is it wrong that the idea of a V8 powered RWD modern MINI probably excites me more than a Celica GT4 drivetrained original mini. :?

Aboslutely not. I see the latter as simply an engineering exercise. I can't get at all excited about the heavy old drivetrain.

However, this does appear to require such extensive work to the shell that they might as well created a bespoke chassis and bolted the shell to it!

Having said the above, I find myself increasingly disinterested in this VINI project. It somehow just doesn't seem as interesting as project Binky, and has turned into a hack job on a mini shell.
