Bristol Cars

Yep. I always found it utterly baffling how they had lasted so long.

I guess all the customers who remembered who they are (IE people like us, but several million in value) have all.....I dunno, died? Were happy with what they had?

Honestly, I thought they were dead long ago :?

And they're being revived:
Deliveries will start in 2022, with cars featuring exterior and interior upgrades. Under the hood, each car will be powered by a 6.4-liter Chrysler Hemi V8 coupled to an eight-speed ZF gearbox, with updated suspension and electrical components.

Models that will undergo recreation include the 411 Series 8, Fighter, and Speedster, with prices starting at £495,000...
Vague description of a car that doesn't exist and has no market + absurdly optimistic price. Seems to be exactly the same business model that saw them through their last two insolvencies

They only built 9 fighters.

I don’t understand them either. A front for Kingsmen perhaps? 🤔

I went to the open day a couple of years ago and saw the Bullet in the workshop there. The build quality was shocking. Orange peel paint and wonky interior. All for a mere £250k. I don't suppose they sold (m)any.

Check out the paint quality on the bonnet...
