i used OE Michelin pilot super sports - really good tyres, nice and predictable when they let go and lasted pretty well (loads more than 4k!)Carlos wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2019 9:42 pm They are rapid cars and lovely handling, in my opinion way ahead of the E46. Although I think tyre technology came on a great deal in the mid 2000s which helped.
The Pilot Cups were awesome but only lasted 4k miles on rear and £300+ each. What were you running ?
ETA - don't beat yourself up over it, life comes back to you. Kids and housing come first
I think that was one of the best things in the e92 - you could spin up the rears or steer on the throttle without it ever feeling like it was going to spin you off. I guess the clever diff/DSC made a big difference (light years ahead of the e46) and flattered hamfistery.
I’ll definitely miss my daily dab of oppo at my T junction!
