disable mobile version?

I hate cut down reorganised mobile versions of forums. Is there a way to get it to show the normal version? I'm quite capable of reading tiny text and would rather have usernames and avatars on the left as per every other forum I use.

Browser options, desktop site. ;)

I like having the mobile version.

Works great on my mobile, don't change it!

I wasn't suggesting disable it for everyone, but a user selectable option would be nice.

Safari on iPhone - request desktop, just reloads the page exactly the same.

Use a proper browser then!

Technically there isn't a 'mobile version' - It's responsive design. But still 'request desktop site' on Chrome on Android must to more than just change the UA that's sent as it displays the 'full site' on that when ticked.

I'm afraid it's browser based, so if you browser doesn't let you display the desktop site.....get a better browser ;)

No way to do it per user as far as I can tell...

Chrome on iPhone is the same. Does nothing if you request desktop version, Cuts everything down way too much, on the forum list you can't see what topic was last posted to, in a forum you can't see who started a thread, only the last poster.

It's annoying it stacks the username on top of the post rather than just scrolling sideways.

PhpBB = Free
vBulletin, as used in your other examples = $400 (including mobile pack) plus yearly cost ($50)

Feel free to transfer the cash over, and I'll get right on it ;)
