We have had a radio on with both of ours, I used to play Bucketbead a lot but now we have Mellow Magic on. It’s been a lifesaver with them sleeping happily with noise around.

Another one here who has had a good experience with the Angelcare one with the sensor pad. Lasted well for both our kids. Got fed up with false alarms when they started rolling off the pad so that was set aside soon after in each case.
Left over crest; tightens.

Just to draw this to a close, for people who care. :)

Ordered a BT video monitor 6000 (not the Smart one, which they say lags a lot). Gets good reviews and does what we need. Couldn't even check out the Angelcare ones as their website is down till 1/10. Decided against the pad/movement ones in the end because of paranoia and false alarms etc. Plus I'm not sure his cot is best for the pad to work. Arrives tomorrow.
